KC is a co-founder of Barnstormers Baseball & former Co-Chair of the Get Hits 4 Education Foundation. Between the two entities, over 50 million dollars in scholarship funds have been accumulated to date. Both entities are motivated to continue this tradition and enable more players to expand their horizons through higher education.

​Kansas City has become one of the most competitive markets in the country for baseball instruction. KC has the distinction of being the first full time youth hitting instructor in Kansas City. Starting in 1990 – 1994 KC was the General Manager of Grand Slam USA. In 1990 Grand Slam USA was a franchise consisting of 100 locations. As & lead hitting instructor, KC built the academy into the 10th highest grossing academy in the franchise. In 1994 Grand Slam USA was sold to Kevin Seitzer & Mike McFarland (formerly of the Kansas City Royals). It is now Mac-n Seitz. In 1996 BARNSTORMERS BASEBALL was born.

Beginning in the early 2000’s the focus was taken off of the field and put it on the individual hitter. My preference is the hitter as he pertains to the game.

During his 4 years at Grand Slam USA KC taught over 1000 hitting lessons each year, both in baseball and softball. The success of the hitters involved in his programs was enough for the Pittsburgh Pirates to ask him to join the organization as an associate scout. Since then KC has also associate scouted for the Florida Marlins, & most recently, the Cleveland Indians. During those years Grand Slam USA was the training home for the Kansas City Royals that lived in south Kansas City. KC spent the 1st 4 years of his career observing, acting as a sounding board for mechanical/political issues and eventually being trusted w Major League swings & careers. The majority of the players were Kansas City Royals, however, there were players from the New York Mets, Minnesota Twins, San Francisco Giants, St. Louis Cardinals, Toronto Blue Jays, Baltimore Orioles, Cleveland Indians, and Philadelphia Phillies players.

Currently, KC is currently completing the HittersCODE project. One could consider KC Hitter the ultimate prereq. for HittersCODE training he hitting device in the world.
